Transducers

Breaker CT’s
CT configurations to slip around the bushing of a high-voltage transformer or
circuit breaker, which automatically centers the conductor inside the CT window.
Bushing CT’s
For use over outdoor bushings of Power Transformers, Bulk Oil Circuit Breakers
and other Dead -Tank Circuit Breakers. These transformers are used primarily for
relaying but may also be used for metering where rating allows.
CCVT’s
A capacitor voltage transformer (CVT or CCVT), is a transformer used in power
systems to step down extra high voltage signals and provide a low voltage signal,
for metering or operating a protective relay.
CTVT
Combined Instrument Transformers convert transmission class voltages & currents to lower standardized measurable values which will be used for metering, protection & control of the high voltage system.
CVT’s
Used mainly for voltage measurement by providing voltage signals to metering units,
protection relay devices, and automatic control devices. CVTs can also be used to
couple power line carrier technology to power systems for communication purposes.
SSVT’s
Station service voltage transformers (SSVTs) to provide low voltage control power for substations, cell tower installations, and at switching stations by tapping directly
from the high voltage line.
